some feedback about this and that
After playing the demo, I have some feedback I would like to share. Overall, the demo is quite nice for a casual clicker, and I enjoyed it. Maybe my recent trip to Japan got me hooked on it a little more because I became more familiar with the culture there, and it was a nice reminiscence of that journey.

The progress seems balanced and straightforward, but it seems to me that it lacks a bit of automation and some depth of expansion based on that automation. The heavy clicking aspect is fine for the first 30-60 minutes, but after obtaining around 6+ tables, the clicking becomes a little tedious, and it could use some assistance. If you add the increasing number of possible orders to that (which are limited in the demo), I think it could become a bit frustrating to click nonstop.

Maybe adding a waiter mechanic to assist with meal distribution or a door assistant to seat clients and an extra kitchen window would help with this. The waiter mechanic could also be limited by the number of tables they can handle by themselves, requiring assistance from the player. This would create a need to hire more waiters, which would help the player out with tasks while also enabling further expansion.

The previously mentioned extra kitchen could take the form of an upgrade to an already obtained kitchen tile, increasing its speed in serving meals.

The money-making mechanic could be enhanced by introducing the attribute of coziness/beauty, which could be achieved by increasing the number of decorations. This would increase the restaurant’s value and allow the player to earn more over time. It could contrast with the need for a greater number of tables to increase income.

Also, while introducing upgrades to income, it would be wise to gradually increase the cost of expanding floor tiles, correlating with the income increase. This would give the player a proper sense of progression.

I also think that the dirtiness mechanic could be connected to a timer, with the price/discount depending on the time it takes for the player to react. At the moment, when table density is high, it’s almost impossible to clean some dirt because you simply cannot select it.

I also encountered some minor problems with the game, but I’ve seen others mention them in other threads. While changing the resolution, I encountered a bug. Although the graphics were nice at the beginning, it showed the lowest resolution possible to select, but when I changed it to a higher one, the entire screen became blurry and unreadable. Restarting the game solved it, though. While in the shop, the "X" closing button doesn’t seem to work properly. It can be closed by double-tapping the Esc button, but not through the button itself.

As a final note, I have to say that I’m looking forward to further updates from the creator because I see a lot of potential for a product I’m willing to buy at a later stage of development.

Hi there! 😊

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback , it means a lot to me! I'm really happy you enjoyed the demo, and I appreciate the thoughtful suggestions you provided.

I wanted to let you know that most of the bugs you mentioned have already been fixed in the official release. That said, I’m currently focusing all my efforts on the main game rather than the demo, as maintaining both is quite challenging. As a solo developer, I’m doing my best to push out updates regularly while also working hard on adding new features.

Speaking of which, I’ve published a roadmap outlining some exciting updates coming in the next few months. These include a waiter system, a screenshot manager, a more advanced kitchen system, and much more! Your suggestions have truly helped me refine my vision for the game.

Thank you again for your support, it means a lot to me! 😊
