I was wondering if any EOS players would be able to help me out with improving or upgrading my gear. I currently have a level 37 Guardian character, and I have full anguished gear with the exception of the helm and linen pieces. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or clues as to where, or which quest, I can obtain them from? Also, I am open to any "useful" advice as to how I can obtain more Dull Jewels for jewel enhancement so I can max out my equipped gear. I found it relevantly simple to just excavate jewels from out-of-date armor or gear and just inlay it into new gear once it is obtained. Therefore, I just simply want to obtain enough jewels of each type to enhance each type of jewel to the + 12 max so I can inlay each +12 jewel into each corresponding piece of armor or gear as I obtain better upgraded versions of each armor piece. Secondly, I would also appreciate any advice as to how I can obtain higher level runes with higher stat bonuses, that can be used to improve my weapon and jewelry, and then, finally, I need to know how to obtain the runic tablet and other necessary accessories to complete the full armor and equipment set on the character custom loadout screen (the window that displays the character image and all equipped gear and accessories). If anyone has any (useful) information, I would very much appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance and I look forward to getting some comments to this inquiry.

Dull jewels drop randomly in game as you kill things. If you chose jeweler as a profession, you will be able to make them granted you have the ingredients and are at the correct crafting level. You can make only 1 dull jewel every couple of hours. Once you get level 60 gear, you will only be able to continue using dulls up to level 63. Gear over level 63 will require the use of "lucid" jewels, which you would also be able to make if you are a jeweler, but you will only be able to craft 1 per day. When this happens, you may extract your dull jewels and keep them in your acct storage for another character of yours to use, or you may sell them on the marketplace.

I don't know if the rune boxes are as randomly dropped as the dull jewels. Typically, when I'm in an area and killing spawn...I notice that if one drops, that wil be a good place to farm them.

I hope I answered your question. I know I added a little extra to it, but I thought it would be relevant for the future. :)

Quick tip.
Holding control+right clicking on an item in your inventory will equip it by swapping it out with the current gear, and swapping the gem as well... for FREE. No need to extract gems unless you are doing so to upgrade them.

- Actually, When you hold down shift and RIGHT click an item in the inventory such as armor, it opens a window which allows you to inlay a jewely. It doesnt automatically replace currently worn item of the same kind, and it doesnt automatically switch the jewel from the currently worn item to the new item. I tried this and all it did was open a window to allow me to inlay a new jewel instead of automatically switching out the item with currently worn item of the same kind. Also, when I hold shift and LEFT click, as well as left click without holding shift, it simply highlights the item and allows it to hover so that it can be moved or relocated to a new inventory slot, which can also be done simply with the drag and drop method. Finally, when you try to RIGHT click, without holding down the shift key, it simply equips the item and replaces any currently equipped item of the same kind, but does NOT automatically replace the jewel that is inlaid in a currently equipped item to a new item. So unfortunately I'm going to have to disagree with the previous post and clarify that apparently the jewel extraction scrolls were specifically designed and implimented into the game SPEFICALLY for the purpose of taking jewels out of items so they are able to be inlaid into newer items, and again, holding shift and right clicking an item does NOT automatically extract jewels and swap them into new gear items. Perhaps for some reason, perhaps a bug or something, maybe it does it for "USMCMP", but it does not do it for me. SO actually there most certainly IS a need to extract jewels other than just to simply upgrade or enhance them by combining them with other jewels. I kinda figured that was EXACTLY the entire reason for incorporating something like a "JEWEL EXTRACTION SCROLL" into the game, because developers don't typically put something like that into a game that has a purpose if it doesnt need to be used to fulfill that purpose. :)

He said CONTROL+ RIGHT CLIKCING not SHIFT :).

Why don't you do battlefield?? You get alot of xp, silvers, items (juwels too )
Christalin Aug 3, 2015 @ 1:13pm
I don't think so. Runes can only be used on weapon and juwelery, so mabye that's why they didn't to that with runes, who knows. xD
