That's great to hear!!!
I'd like to add that further differences to Ports of Call are upgrades of your ship, a real story/campaign with quests, modern and understandable user interface, comapny contracts as you said and multiple jobs per ship, landmarks in the harbor scenes... and the likes.
Anyway, I wish you so much fun with the game!
Offcourse sailing through means high chance on damage to your ship but no time delay or go around ( be safe ) and lose some time. The last is especially a pain in the ass when you do time restricted contracts.
Is there actually manual steering in the game? Even if it is just for docking?
Only thing missing is that I *always* played POC with friends..... Anyway got this on my follow list for now.
I just can´t stop clicking...it´s like "just one more turn" in Civilization. Bam, two hours gone.
Once I had a decent amount of money, I would watch the market and buy the most expensive ship I could. I'd then advance time for a second and check the ship market. When the price went up I would sell the ship, then buy the next expensive one. I would do this until I was buying the most expensive ship, or cheaper ships in multiple. Finally I was buying the most expensive ship in multiples. Small percentage changes in value is a lot of money when you are talking very large figures.
Can't do that here, there are port fees and ships sell for less than purchase price.
