Nec Aspera Terrent Achievement
Any idea what has to been done to achieve this and how it can be done? It will be great if anyone can help me with that.

I admit I have trouble identifying which achievement you're thinking of here - Google Translate fails to make sensible English out of 'Nec Aspera Terrent', and I wouldn't have thought this game had a Latin language localization. Browsing the game files for this text line also comes up blank.

I'm going to gamble that you refer to the achievement that in the English localization is called 'No Stranger to Danger'? This achievement has a subtitle of 'Experience all three random events on one journey and survive them all'.

This is one of the more difficult achievements, since it requires that you have three random events (reefs, pirates, storms) on a single voyage. That's quite rare to have during normal play.

The best way to get this is to find the longest possible route you can and set the ship to move at the slowest possible speed - and then cross your fingers. Multiple attempts will likely be necessary, so make a save beforehand. Going from Metro Vancouver to Europe with a ULCV (i.e. a ship big enough that it's forced to go the long way around South America) is one of the lenghtier lines you can do, and a good candidate.

This is a kind of riddle. Translating the latin text will give you a first clou. Having some kind of bad luck a few times in a row will give you the chance to proove yourself ;-)

Edit: Ah...I was too late ;-)

Wikipedia has got several good explanations for that latin phrase.
Basically saying "harsh situations won't terrify us" or "nothing scares us".

That must really be hard to get. Never had a storm in any game so far. Did one game to Tycoon in normal mode and nearly Tycon in my current hard mode game.

Now I finally achieved it! Tip with ULCV was very helpfull. I send it on the way from Metro Vancouver to Valencia with slowest speed. And I bought a lot of cheap ships and leave them in the ports. So the radom events affected always my ULCV. I did the achievement with a fire, pirates and a reef, no storm. So maybe three of the random events give that achievement.
