GREAT HINT / TIP for all begginers even VETS! on how to shoot faster!
So i know many of you are doing the READY option, but did you know! that if you actually ready your weapon than use the AIM at point button, even if you start to run carefully or move to a new position you WILL shoot a LOT faster. it may seem like readying your weapon is all you need than you fast turn and want to shoot a guy who is rougly 50-60 meters away, you notice it now takes you 3! 3!!!! seconds for that guy if he has a pistol or even a rusty old winchester lever he found in some dirty crate hidden in a humid box with dirt and rocks in it. to shoot you in 1-2 seconds and end your mercs life. With the READY and AIM at point even when you flip that corner and you were not aiming there. Your gonna be able to shoot in 1.5 seconds.

Saving your ass many times. I am going to add this into the guide discussion. I just thought i should let everyone know.

Is that how enemies often seemed to round corners and shoot impossibly fast? I always thought CQB was way too deadly because of that.

Yes! it is because of that! i have played this game for what 1 year now? and i JUST realized this today. I have been able to buzz through some of the quest i know now so easy! for instance that Motel with Benice. I mow down everyone in like 5-10 seconds now.

Now for prone if you want to keep that LOW time to shoot. you have to go prone, ready weapon, aim in front of your character, Now do not use the TURN function, your character will turn lower weapon AND un ready, now you just added 5 seconds to shoot the guy that creeped up on you by being slightly to the right. Instead when prone use the AIM key, to turn and be ready to fire in .5 seconds.

This adds a WHOLE new level to my gameplay lol.

The corners thing is the Fast Turn option, if you hold left alt and move your mouse to a corner, the option may appear, you will come out of the cover aiming really fast, and if you want to go back you can hold alt again and move the mouse to the cover section of the corner, this way you will take cover in it very quickly, you can then leave cover with fast turn again to aim very fast.

The option doesnt always work, sometimes it doesnt show up on some corners, especially if you quickload a game while you are in the corner.
