Still unplayable or Fixed?
I remember having bought a hard copy of this game once and it was unplayable due to it running too damn fast on any modern computer. Can anybody tell me if this generally works with modern systems now?

windows 7 x64 amd 6 core phenom 1100t 8gb ram,geforce gtx460 1gb

EDIT -- i tested the resolution, the game resolution will run at what ever your desktop resolution is,i tried 1920x1080 and it's fine, the images look a little sharper but your mouse cursor and settings box at the bottom right are very small at this resolution,so it looks like you can run any resolution you like and will work fine with your native resolution.

The game started up fine for me,and it's running perfectly fine,i have no idea what the older cdrom versions are like but i have played it a wee bit on ps1 and this version seems quicker and smoother as well as looking and sounding better,i can't see any fault with it apart from it being old and running on i think 800x600,also the mouse movement is quite sensitive but this isnt really a problem for me,also the resolution isn't a problem as i intend to play this on a tv and i want to be able to read the text from a distance.

Seems promising. The old pc version had an issue wherein the game was running much too fast, near warp speed I might say, making it impossible to view any video or audio sequence and thus being unable to understand anything of the story.

This depends on your system specs. Let me try installing my disc version on my system

My Specs :

Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB Ram
Windows 7 32 bit
Geforce 8400m GS

(Speedup of audio was due to oudated sound card drivers from my previous tech notes)
Ill be back in a bit.

I just got done installing the original disk version and it worked fine. It says 1.0 version on my disk.

Won't run for me. Says I do not have a video card installed.
