Do you know if it's like that for all the episodes of the series?
GOG(Good Old Games) is generally better with older games than steam, since they add patches to make them compatible on modern OS as well as having the authentic original copies of games.
I remember finishing this on PS1 when it released.
It was the worse experience EVER, trying to findout what to do to move the game forward, moving the stupid cursor with the controller and hoping that the freaking aim would turn to a COG so i know it was an important point in the screen i had to click.
It was the worst game experience of my life hahahahaha.
But i finished it, it was a releave to reach the end, ngl.
I am sure in the PC with a mouse, it is much easier, but with the controller it was just stupid.
No visual clues except the cursos changing icon is just depressing :(
