Can't login to the game with my old account.

I played this game when it is called Memento Mori. I made my account back then.
Long time since I last played the game. When a few days ago I discovered the game on Steam, I downloaded it, installed it...

And I remembered, that back then when first time UPDATING the game it took ages to download. Now, in 2018 the download and patch the game takes MORE THAN 2 HOURS!
It downloads with a few kilobytes/sec. SERIOUSLY!?! I have a 1Gigabit broadband net!
The fresh install from steam is 4.3 GB on the HDD, after the update it is 4.4 GB, so it DONWLOAD ~100MB IN MORE THAN 2 HOURS! WHY?

But my real problem is, that I can not login to the game into my account with my ID and password.Why I can't login and access my old character? What happened with it?

Before anyone come here and shows, they think most of the people is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, by asking am I sure that I entered my ID and password correctly...
YES! I was wrote it down when created my account, so it is impossible they are not correct...

OH, not to mention the game wont starts from the Steam client. It just pops up a small and ugly little blue window that said "Checking warp portal" and immediatly crash.
I have to navigate to the game folder and manually start the game with the updater exe file.

I thought maybe I can download the standalone client. I find it in the webpage, but I can't download it, because it is requred a registration on that Warp portal site.
And I will not register, BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT to the game, I don't need another account to a page that I know, I will never visit...
I just want to play it.
I already registered!!!

On the photo, you can see their server admin, as he sets up the high speed connection for their download server! :-D

Sounds like you have a really old account like from Nova or the other servers. You will need to use the WarpPortal client to play (or you can continue bypassing the Steam Launcher to be able to login).

Playing via Steam (with all of the Steam achievement things) is possible only if the account was created through Steam too.

Password change (in case you need to go through that) is also only possible through WarpPortal. Maybe you can send a ticket to WarpPortal Support, perhaps they can help sort out things for you.

So, basically I have to crate a new account at WarpPortal and new character in the game?
That's sad...

Or contact WarpPortal...hmmm...according how they care about the their download speed, I think I skip this option.

As far as I know you don't have to create a new game account and new character. I mean, if you only need to download the client, if I were you I'd just register for a WarpPortal account. Once you download and install the client you should be able to use your old account.

Coolio. By the way, there's two servers, Trifri and Aeternum. Aeternum is new, in alpha stage, buggy and there will be a character wipe on that server is what I was told. Most people are in Trifri.

I’m working on my re overt now. After some email chats, we finally have it confirmed that I’m not a hacker. But they also wanted 4 or 5 valid emails. I had to create new email accounts lol

I just start6ed playing again from 2015... When I downloaded the Steam version I was unable to login to my old accounts. I created new toons... :/

1) have you made that account in europe? if so R.I.P account its deleted
they have banned more countrys then you can count on 2 hands from the requiem servers
those who are in the ( banned ) countrys got thair account banned permanently forever

if you just came from momento ( you get no refunds )

2) how is it possible it takes that much time for you to download it ?
do you got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ internet? i download the game in less then 15 minutes with 50-80mbps

3) if your account is banned R.i.p go make a new account

4) if steam dont work go client .

5) if client dont work send ticket if that doesnt work delete the game and
never think about it again bec the devs dont read tickets.

basicly the game is pay to win now so even if you are able
to get in the game with a momento mori character
its impossible to play with it without using (malls)
bec otherwise it takes about a year to get +30 lvl 90 8/8 enchanted :D

i am talking about 10 hours a day for 365 days playing :) understand it now :?

the window of finding more amazing games is wide open go check out some other
games bec this game is full of russian atm which are hacking (cough) the GM helium
isnt banning them bec they buy malls (cough) this msg will
be deleted by a dev bec its against the rules to tell the truth *cough* XD
