Game stopped saving my progress

i start from the caves section of the game and then move on to the train tracks section then i quit and go back in and it says caves it usually saves after level transition i cant progess if it stops saving my progress. so i have no idea what to do any help would be appreiated.

Same Problem here... It's just not saving progress.
I'm playing with Meta Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop...

As I figuered out some other problems with Steam, like not able to updating other games, I reinstalled Steam and now it is updating eveything and saving the game. I think it was because of updating from Windows 10 to 11.
