Open Playtest Egg-stension!

Hello Yolkfolk!

Thank you to everyone who played the public playtest over the Easter break - we've had a blast watching you through joy, pain and elation!

"Maybe we should keep the playtest open a bit longer?" said Piotr.

Piotr has a point.

So for those who enjoyed playing Egging On but wished they could play again, or for those who maybe didn't get a chance to try it out over the weekend; we've decided to extend the public playtest by 48 hours!

The playtest will now continue to be available to access, play and stream until Thursday 24th April 15.00 BST!

We've been blown away by all the support over the last few days - thank you to everyone who's played or covered Egging On during the Easter break!

Very fun

Thanks for the demo! I had lots of fun while raging a little. Controls are great, map is very well thought out. Wish there was better graphics settings though. Looking forward to the full game (even though this already felt like a full-fledged game).

Limited-Time Easter Open Playtest!

Surprise!!

In celebration of the Easter holiday break, we're excited to announce that we're making available a streamable limited-time open playtest!

From now until Monday 21st April 15.00 BST, you'll be able to have a crack at the Hen House & Farm levels, and we've also included a special Easter Egg shell for you to play with!

In case you missed the news as well, we announced yesterday that we've teamed up with the wonderful people at IndieArk to help create even better egg-sperience for you all!

Playtest Updated!

A New Round of Yolkfolk!

The first playtest session was such a cracking success we've decided to announce we’re extending the playtest with a new round of Yolkfolk joining the fun!

Thanks to the incredible feedback, we’ve already rolled out some updates to the test build, now live for everyone to enjoy. These include smoother control tweaks, handy new tips and tricks, and...wait, is that a drone buzzing around?

We would really appreciate if those that test the game could fill in the Feedback Form[forms.gle]. Every comment helps us make the game eggstra special!

A quick reminder that since this is a playtest with some placeholder features, please refrain from streaming or sharing videos publicly. If you want to cover Egging On please fill out our Creators Form[forms.office.com] or catch us on Discord[discord.gg] for a chat.

Guessing no checkpoints?

I'm guessing there won't be checkpoints based on this in the description: "Any mistake could cost you a chunk of your progress." Looks fun but I'm not a fan of the games where you fall and start over. I think it would be still enjoyable if checkpoints are an option....

Egg Skin Idea

This has got to be my most anticipated game of the year for sure, something about the art style, and the delightfully simple, yet complex mechanics of this game has got me hooked! Really looking forward to play it when it's out! I had this idea for an egg skin which I thought would be silly/cool and that would be a clown egg! (Google Clown Egg) If you didn't know, all famous clowns trademark their face paint by painting it on an egg and submitting it to the Clown Egg Registry, which is pretty neat :D I...
