HOW TO START A GAME WITH KEYBOARD

Heya new-fangled ROCKETEERS! Module 3 and module 4 introduced a new UI that is mostly awesome, but we ran out of time to implement proper messaging for the keyboard folks out there.

TL;DR: Pop open the settings menu and you can define your keyboard controls. By default they are Z, X, C, and Spacebar (with X being the start-game button).

Personally, I develop the game and play entirely with keyboard at the office - and our other team members exclusively use controllers. We are making sure to keep the game well balanced and fun for both sorts of users, but that said, all the world's best players use controllers so the game definitely leans that way.

We strongly recommend users use gamepads, but the game will always support keyboard folks out there. I'm one of them!

We'll get the keyboard messaging in for the Module 5 update so there'll be less confusion.

As of Module 5, keyboard controls appear on the team select screen!

I don't have a controller. I wouldn't use it anyways because I mostly play with my keyboard. The time where my hands hurt from playing ROCKETSROCKETSROCKETS is now over because I got adapted to the way how it works.

Keyboard controls on the select screen sounds awesome.

A few questions, btw:

Is the camera bug fixed?
Is it now possible to change the team of the AI?

I'm asking because the game got a few updates in the last time.

We have some patch notes up (stickied at the top of this forum), I did fix a camera bug -- hopefully it's the one you mean!

The AI will join a random (empty) team so no, can't really change that just yet. on the list!
