what is this? this isnt the Lara Croft (tomb raider) game. this is lara croft thrown into diablo.

i never played it so excuse my negativity. but what on earth is this? i'm a huge fan of Lara Croft, Tomb Raider. but this is NOT lara croft, tomb raider. this is. just, i dont even know. diablo raider?

There's a reason it's not called Tomb Raider, Lara Croft is a spinoff franchise. The first game in the series, Guardian of Light, was released 2010 and Temple of Osiris is the second one. It's not for everyone, but a lot of people (myself included) really like the games. It's not Tomb Raider, and it's not trying to be; that's the point.

The trailers show you mostly battles and stuff but it's mostly puzzles like old Tomb Raider games.

it's better than TR. Got everything it needs : puzzles, adventures, challenge. TR doesnt.

If you're interested, you should pick up the first game on sale some time since it goes for around $2. This is closer to the older TR series than the reboot. Think more along the lines of TR Legend rather than TR 2013 (or whatever year it was released). It just also happens to be good co-op fun. And yeah like others have said there's some good puzzle gameplay in this.
