"We want, we want"... what is this we non-sense. I enjoyed GoL (which you seem to have no idea exists) and I'd be happy to play a sequel and for the record I've played TR since the first and I thought their last one was poor. So quit thinking we all have the same tastes.
The only legitimate point you have OP is the preorder bonuses, the rest is nonsense.
As for comparing it to a unreleased game which will probably not be anything like Lara Croft (GoL or otherwise) is pretty ludicrous.
Seriously, Gauntlet is about killing a sh#tton of enemies and trying to survive ever incresing odds. (also stealing items from your friends :P)
This game and GoL is about coop puzzles and some fights in-between.
Your post makes me think you havent played either Gauntlet OR GoL.
So yeah... except for the pre-order thing, your being extremely silly.
Yep, i have played the Arcade, NES and DOS version. Only got far into it in the Arcade Version but they are very similar.
I have also played Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (GoL), the game that this one is a sequel of.
And no, Gauntlet is completely diferent, it has a very very fast paced game, with focus on surviving, collecting items fast and having incredible team coordination if you want to end the level.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light are focused on puzzles, moving rocks across platforms, using the rope and player interactivity to overcome said puzzles (such as using the Spears as a "ladder" that only Lara can cross).
They are completely diferent. Its like comparing Lost Vikings with Duke Nukem (1 &/or 2).
You will never write about games for a living. Couldn't be more wrong without actual effort.
Go play Guardian of Light. And Gauntlet for that matter. Were you even born when that came out?
i WAS thinking TRINE? IS GOL same as this idea as well?
I can see its under another DEV. WHile square just PUBs it.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was a great game and in some ways more of a Tomb Raider game than the last entry of the main series (though I enjoyed both.)
