This isn't a diablo clone, it's a Gauntlet clone
This isn't a diablo clone, it's a Gauntlet clone, and it's slotted for a release to try and compete with a nearly finished NON early access Gauntlet it self. Save your self cash and a ruined IP, just buy Gauntlet if that's the kind of game you like. Also different preorders have different costumes so you'd have to buy the game 3 times to get everything. Which is a ♥♥♥♥ty as ♥♥♥♥ plan. All preoders should have all preorder bonuses no matter who the vendor is. This is a simple cash grab from squarenix which is really ♥♥♥♥ing me off, just as the dead island moba and the SINS moba are cash grabs to try and score in on a fad with half ♥♥♥♥♥ work and cloning.
We want another Tomb Raider game like your last one, not a IP ripoff clone of another genre type! We as gamers notice these things and while you make a few bucks, it's not nearly enough with the cash you stand to lose when we decided to stop supporting you entirely! Don't be like EA, don't be a ♥♥♥♥!

Its like GoL, which is not a diablo clone.

"We want, we want"... what is this we non-sense. I enjoyed GoL (which you seem to have no idea exists) and I'd be happy to play a sequel and for the record I've played TR since the first and I thought their last one was poor. So quit thinking we all have the same tastes.

If it's anything like Guardians of Light then it's a very good game. GoL certainly didn't ruin the IP either.

The only legitimate point you have OP is the preorder bonuses, the rest is nonsense.

Yep, pre-order bonuses is crap, which is the main reason for me to not buy this game on release (or with release price).

As for comparing it to a unreleased game which will probably not be anything like Lara Croft (GoL or otherwise) is pretty ludicrous.

Seriously, Gauntlet is about killing a sh#tton of enemies and trying to survive ever incresing odds. (also stealing items from your friends :P)

This game and GoL is about coop puzzles and some fights in-between.

Your post makes me think you havent played either Gauntlet OR GoL.

So yeah... except for the pre-order thing, your being extremely silly.

I've played every gauntlet game ever released, and the videos show this as a 4 player co-op gauntlet style game. No clue what GoL is, but this certainly isn't diablo, like some people think. have you ever played a gauntlet game?

Missed the mark once again.

Guardian of Light is the first game in this series, Temple of Osiris is the sequel. You'd know this had you done some basic research.
its like Dead Island Epidemic another MOBA clone, please guys, any devs reading this. STOP MAKING THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aleitheo Aug 11, 2014 @ 10:01am
First off, MOBA is a genre, not a game so that's as daft as calling something a FPS clone. Secondly, Epidemic is a horde based online ARPG, not a MOBA.

Yep, i have played the Arcade, NES and DOS version. Only got far into it in the Arcade Version but they are very similar.

I have also played Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (GoL), the game that this one is a sequel of.

And no, Gauntlet is completely diferent, it has a very very fast paced game, with focus on surviving, collecting items fast and having incredible team coordination if you want to end the level.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light are focused on puzzles, moving rocks across platforms, using the rope and player interactivity to overcome said puzzles (such as using the Spears as a "ladder" that only Lara can cross).

They are completely diferent. Its like comparing Lost Vikings with Duke Nukem (1 &/or 2).

You will never write about games for a living. Couldn't be more wrong without actual effort.
Go play Guardian of Light. And Gauntlet for that matter. Were you even born when that came out?

Remember folks: only one game is allowed to exist in any one category-the most popular-everything else is a clone and a cash-grab. Except first-person shooters, can't have enough of those.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was a great game and in some ways more of a Tomb Raider game than the last entry of the main series (though I enjoyed both.)
