There appears to be no griffin eggs present, which are required for conquering Aralan. Also, have no idea where to start searcing for Curing the trees for Driad which we need to make happier.

Some time since I was at this point but I seem to remember that relevant animals spawned on the island when I received the quest. They hadn't been there up to that point. It was a case of finding the newly spawned griffins and killing them for their eggs.
