I can use them to block someone, to take the chest but it's not that big help from female vampires.
and the passives are even less than a regular vampire.
like give the dart a life steal debuff so that other units can enjoy the regen. you know if the target has bleeding on it the vampirism effect is increased. seduction or something, atm the moment a terrible addition to the undead army.
To Clown Reemus: I particularly like spirit walkers and blood priestesses. The walkers are good shooters for their price / leadership, unlimited range - the abilities are useless but if they were as powerful as the old goblin shamans they would be OP. The b priesstess have the sacrifice ability which is great in the early game and they are decent but not too powerful in close combat - so kinda balanced. Aside from them, I totally agree that ALL new units are either OP or useless.
enemy archers cannot use range because of her mist locking them in place if you use vampire's 2nd rage ability + demoness' 1st, 2nd rage. this break enemy archers real hard core early game.
not only that if you complete quests, she can become 'horde', early game horde units shouldn't be as good as the limited ones.
it also depends on your hero. if you are a demoness who relies on having a big army and rely on its ability to cause damage, female vampires may not be as good.
for an orc, most of my damage early game to mid game comes from rage abilites, all i need is someone who can break the archers range attacks. female vampires were really nice and easily replaced.
also if you get access to demoness troops and giants but doesn't have enough flying troops, female vampires can also work. giants + demoness + female vampires + AoE rage abilites for orc can wipe out any ground troops on turn one.
yea female vampires are really good. i think she is one of the best level 3 you can get access to. if not i would say it is cerberus. i don't know why people think she is underpowered...she is a tank. she doesn't do a lot of damage, but can tank so much damage with her dodge against crit dodge (deception), and cannot be countered and regeneration! slap mist on top of that she will never die. dont forget necro energies will also heal/resurrect her...
i also really love her ability to 'call' range units....this really breaks the enemy range casters and archers. for early games, their priests and archers were a giant pain to my orc because i haven't unlock all my rage yet. i can't really use my demoness' rage so archers will kill off all my guys with frost arrows kiting my melee so hard core.
imagine if she can also deal super amount of damage...this troop would be completely broken...i would forget about the dragons, just have a lot of demonesses and female vampires...
other level 3 troops like priests, and flying units, blood priestess, orcs, sea dogs, and guards just don't get that good. sorry.
for the spirit, i don't think i can pull it off with a stack of female vampires, cus orcs don't have so many spells. and on top of that they take away blakie, so no rage. but i was able to do it under 5 rounds with demoness teleports and necromancers raise dead....cus their troops will revive if you don't raise them as your own. in fact i think it would be worse for them if they summon more...cus i would kill them and add to my army.....lots of vampire bats and ghosts swarming the battlefield and demoness teleport really did the spirit a huge favor....lol
