Fish soup for dead pirate

I can't remember how I did this in the first game as Neoline. I know Bald Ron made it and I've visited Don Romantic and the fishermen on the other islands, tried fighting Devilfish and buying Devilfish, but no luck. What am I forgetting?

Ive been wondering how to make a fish soup for that stupid pirate in sandy island. I never ask question online this is my first time but i am really frustrated.
I cant see his quest in quest log...
I dunno why. Its because i make quest with strange rum first ?
I ve heard that i have to go to inn with bald ron in order to have soup ... but he dont care about what i want.
I am really lost with this soup.
Any help ?
Do i need something else in order to trigger this quest ?
Man this quest log is mess...
I really wanna get this password and move to another island.

I had to ask the same question, even after I had completed the quest before. You need to defeat a particular Devilfish. It is on one of the islands on the east side of Sandy Island by the waterwheel.

Well thing is i beat everybody there. I have fish in my bag. I am going to chceck that islands but i am quite sure ive been on every single one of them.

I have no idea what to do next. I went to the amazonia now but its so harrash ... Like whole quest line just broken and i am jumping randomly now.
I really want to finish that quest before leaving.

Well i checked everysingle place every single npc or house at that island. Nothing.
Nobody from enemy is alive.
No npc gives a sht about soup.
Quest log wont say me anything.
Only thing i have is that fish it says that its macarel or something.
I think its some kind of bug because of doing other quest first than this.

It hasn't happened to me yet but I've always suspected that a developer update might catch me mid-quest and leave me empty handed.

I just did this quest yesterday and it seemd straight forward; I think the inn keeper did the conversion. However, as with several other quests; if you still have a quest open with the inn keeper he won't progress until you complete it (I think there was a delivery quest -but my memory is hazzy here).

Soup can be made at Drowned Mans Head Inn. There is a big red shark sign above the door.
