Flying Cheat

Cheating is not for everyone but in WOTN, the flying cheat helped mitigate the only part of the game I found horribly tedious. (ie. endless running back and forth)

Can anyone tell me if the "canfly" cheat works on Dark Side? If not, how soon realistically do you get your flying horse?
