Charm School Princess: the Rundown
In an earlier post I said a million gold won't buy you 10 real princesses. I've been confused about the possibilities of the Charm School so I ran some tests. Here are the results:

>>>> SPOILERS <<<<

You can ask Beyu Cedre 3 questions.

Q1 Do you have young ladies?
A1 Repeatable, 25,000 gold for 25, same inventory item as cheaper girls from Feline

Q2 Do you have princesses?
A2 Not repeatable, ends quest, 500,000 gold for 5, inventory tooltip says a real royal daughter

Q3 Can you educate common girls?
A3 Not repeatable, 500,000 gold for 10, inventory tooltip says not a royal daughter but looks almost real

I'm almost sure Feline's girls work for dragons as well as Beyu's. I didn't notice when I made female vampires if those were only using Feline's girls. Maybe somebody has figured out if this is a common pool or divided by usage.

>>>> NOT SPOILERS <<<< but >>>> RAMBLING <<<<

I have no idea what Russian or other language Beyu Cedre comes from but it's always been Bayou Cedar to me although, of course, it's cypress trees that grow in the bayou not cedars.

>>>> WORSE RAMBLING <<<<

My head echos with "Born on the Bayou" by Credence Clearwater Revival. Then "Down on the Corner," then "Proud Mary," and so on, and I realize how many CCR tunes are in TV commercials. The funniest, or saddest maybe, was "Fortunate Son" an antiwar song about rich kids, whose parents skip taxes, not being drafted while the unfortunately poor singer is doing his duty. It was for blue jeans and showed guys in SUVs with canoes on top at a river with their girls. How fortunate for them!

I know musicians wanted to, and still want to, make money as well as express their feelings and creativity but the emotional impact of a song stays with us, doesn't it? Having that emotional impact cheapened can hurt. For instance, I want to remember that special girl when I hear what was once "our song" not be asked to buy breakfast cereal.

Similarly, when I play King's Bounty, I want to recall that rush I felt the first time I played. Having that cheapened by bugs and inconsistencies almost feels like losing that special girl. Still, every song a musician writes can't be a hit and every movie in a series can't be a blockbuster. The essence remains and that's why we keep listening, watching, and playing.

>>>> Believe it or not, since my first post I heard the opening bars of a Lynyrd Skynyrd song used to sell cranberry juice. Now that's ironic considering their problems with drinks of another nature.
