Black Dragon Fire Ability

Is there a way to choose which path the Black Dragon takes when using its Fire ability? This was not possible in Armored Princess. The path was automatically set depending on your start and end positions. But I saw a post that said the feature was added to Crossworlds where you could manually choose which hexes to fly over. So is this feature in Dark Side? Because it did come out after Crossworlds. Or did the developers not put it in this game for some reason?

I played halfway through Dark Side. To answer my own question, the Black Dragon behaves as it did in Armored Princess. The Fire Ability automatically chooses a path based on start and end positions and cannot be manually chosen by the player. However, the computer can pick unorthodox flight paths that the player cannot.

As to the steam community members in this discussion... the first reply was an unhelpful and pretentious opinion from a newbie who didn't know the answer and tried to be a smart alec. then two more newbies wanted to act the same way, to say 'i think...' without knowing the answer.

They took offense and decided to start a personal attack. their egos got bruised because in their mind it's 'all about me me me'. none have shown any evidence they know the answer, they came to post simply to stroke their egos by imaginging their opinions are interchangeable to facts.

Not a lot of decent players contributing to the King's Bounty: Dark Side discussion. To be expected, given it is not widely popular. Challenging and fun game though.

not sure how my reply would come off as pretentious. i said its probably safe to assume the behaviours shown in the latest version of the game would probably be the ones kept for future versions. reverting to an earlier version would make for a rare occurence

you seem to be really on the defensive and looking for trouble where theres none. relax a bit :p

In my experience if you use the ability and click an Enemy, you can afterwards click another enemy or an empty space, until the AP of the dragon depletes. That´s the most you can control the pathing. But yeah, the path will be controled by the Ai every time...

I thought it was funny and replied with a joke. The OP deserved the sarcasm for his tone.
