Can you say how unfaithful it is? Is it just a few name changes here and there? Or did they go all-out and change the entire story in the translation?
Because I read a review on Gamefaqs for this game that said the original story was great in Russian, but butchered into a mockery in the English version.
But as long as the text is eligible and the game is playable in English, I'll keep any eye on this game.
The game is playable, and the text is legible. The jokes are what they didn't get across, the speech is sort of flat and robotic. "If you continue to move around in that manner" (Forgot the rest, but it was a threat), and such.
Oops, I meant to say "as long as the text ISN'T eligible". But you probably figured that out. Sorry.
Anyway, I can deal with bad dialog and flat characters as long as the actual gameplay is good. And this game looks really fun. A lot of people compare it's gameplay to the original Fallout games, which I love. So I'll pick this up sometime. Hell, I might even pick it up later today. Even if I hate it, what's a mere $5 in the long run?
Thanks for clearing some things up for me!
Heres hoping this game becomes more popular through Steam, and gets a proper translation some day.
