Level 30 Achievement?
How is this even realistic? I did a LOT of the game. Explored almost everything, killed almost everything. Farmed as much as I could adn I was like level 23 at the end. How are you supposed to acquire the other millionish exp to get the last 7 levels? Is there a farm spot that I dont know about?

Not feasible unless you use a mod.
I'm not there yet. But the only grind besides killing normal stuff, I know of are the following.

Selling via dialogue to some NPCs does not only give gold, but also XP. E.g.
- Gold and silver misc items to Mix
- Herbs to the Herbalist in town (south city gate area)
- Metal Ingots to some characters, I think the weapon merchant near the south city gate.
- Hunting tropies to the hunter at the hunter camp beneath the lighthouse
- Advanced tropies to the alchemist
- I think two NPCs also take foods, e.g. to the tavern keeper in the city, if I remember correctly.
- The smith in Artisans District, also buys common weapons for XP and more gold.
...

250 gold at shrines also gives you 100 XP, each time, with no limit.

- Death Priest in hidden crypts give I think 2000 XP, each.
- Desolators 5000 XP, each. I found 10, so far:
  • One in a corner of Icy Ridge (killed)
  • Big wide valley of Icy Ridge / Frozen Valley
  • Tucked away valley in Dark Forest
  • Above Free Hunter Camp. Leave the camp over the rope bridge. Follow the path to a road sign (The Free Hunters | Alpha and Omega). After that continue on the path, always keeping right. It leads up steep, into the mountains NE.
  • From Nerests Hut, past where you first find Fox, down to the end of the husk infested valley, there is a path up into the mountains. It leads onto a small plateau, where the map is showing three needle trees. He is between those. You can also reach it, by crossing over the rock arch, from the nearby red brick ruin. (Appearance trigger unknown. I fought him in Act 4, but never was there before. So he might be there from the start.)
  • Act 3: At a house ruin near the northern transition between Dark Forest and Ivarsby.
  • Act 3: During the last stage of Trader "Radim's Grand Construction" quest, a Desolator spawns above his house, near the drunkard shrine.
  • Act 3: If you followed the quest starting with Norayr (Dark Forest Jaegers camp) and continuing with Kaigar (Watchtower region Hunter Camp) to completion, Kaigar will offer a dialogue option, to go to Norayr at Dark Forest Jaeger camp. Together you then go a ditch in the SE of Dark Forest, to hunt a Desolator.
  • Act 4: Plateau above Fishing village. I noticed him on the way back, from "Icy Ridge" quest. So it might be, that he only appears, after that or a specific act 4 quest. He drops legendary 2H-Sword Clear Skies.
  • Act 5: During a linear quest path to High Fort, in a basin, to the left.

- Hunting alphas does give decent XP, so I'll just copy and paste my list:
  • Alpha Ratwalker: +2 Dex (Watchtower, back towards starting region, down to broken down houses and past them, leads to a ditch, with several ratwalkers. In a corner is a cave with the alpha.)
  • Alpha Ratwalker: +2 Dex Take the passage from Watchtower to Ivarsby. Directly after that passage, take the left pat, until you reach a bridge. Before you cross it, turn left, walking upstream, towards a waterfall. A bit before that, there is a cave, to the left. (At the opportunity, check behind the waterfall, too.)
  • Alpha Woodwalker: +2 For (NEE of the red brick church between Greyshaftian Hound, and Dark Forest. The distinctly green looking Alpha, is NEE, in the open, on a meadow, together with several Adult ones.)
  • Alpha Woodwalker: +2 for (Side path, on the way from Woodcutter's Camp to Outskirts Farms. The path has a small camp on the left and a cave with the alpha, on the right.)
  • Alpha Mauler: +2 Ins (Icy Ridge. On a plateau, some way in.
  • Alpha Mauler: +2 Ins Another one is further back, on an opening with a big book.)
  • Alpha Tunnel Beast: 2x +2 Dex (Icy Ridge. Two of them, in a cave, a bit further back along a ledge, from the alpha mauler.)
  • Alpha Tunnel Beast: +2 Dex Behind the cannibal camp, in a cave (ducking through several low caves)
  • Alpha Tunnel Beast: +2 Dex Behind Ivarsby, past the fishing lake, in a cave.
  • Alpha Rover: +2 Str (After transitioning from Watchtower region to Outskirts, hug the left mountain, until you reach an opening, that leads to the alpha.
  • Alpha Rover: +2 Str (Mountains between Watchtower/Outskirts and the big agriculture area. A pass leads through there. At one point, a small opening with some bugs and a chest leads seemingly nowhere, but if you climb up, in the back, you will get on a plateau, with the alpha.)
  • Act 4 - Alpha Rover (lvl 40): +2 Str (Talk to Ivar, after you escaped from Brooma).
  • Alpha Hobster: +2 Sta (Dark Forest, a steep path, up to a ruin, on the way to Ivarsby.)
  • Alpha Hobster: +2 Sta (NE beach of Alpha Omega region)
  • (Gravedigger exclusive) Alpha Hobster: +2 Sta (Alpha Estate Beach. Walk to the very south and swim around the rock outcrop, to reach a cave. Taking the sword during Gravedigger quest "Hobster King's Sword", will spawn an alpha hobster. Without the quest, the cave is locked off, by a door.)
  • Alpha Stinger: +2 Insight (Swamp, very right path.)
  • Alpha Stinger: +2 Ins (Outside of Ivarsby, in direction of Dark forest, over a bridge, then on the left in a small canyon.)
  • Alpha Brute: +2 For, +2 Sta (Icy Ridge, SW corner, in a small basin, past some other Brutes)
  • Alpha Brute: +2 For, +2 Sta (Behind Ivarsby, westwards, through an chiseled stone arc, then leaving the path, with a sharp turn left, towards a cave with deserters, but a sharp turn right, to another cave, with the alpha.)

Telling the hunter in Dark Forest, about killed alphas gives also XP.

Not sure if that is enough?

Worst case you can invest money in the bank, and withdraw the interest regulaly, then pray at the next shrine. The shrine in the Order HQ, is probably closest. But grinding that would be, really tedious.
Yeah so i did 150 hours of gameplay and got to lvl 21 I think and sold most of my stuff for xp. I thought level 30 woulda be like new game plus or something but honestly There isnt enough quests for that amount of xp. I will say this, its prbly the first achievement for a lvl ive seen where i was like. No way thats happening, thats a real achievement. I legit didnt do only 5 quests and it was side quests. Most of them were maybe AT MOST 1k xp and i doubt that even then. The worst part is prbly that i had most stats at 100 already so another 30 points wouldnt have made a difference tbh
Yeah unless we end up being able to grind the arena infinitely (once it's fixed), I'm not sure how it's supposed to be possible.
u can knock down city guard , civilian , basically every NPC and get there exp without being reported as a crime ,
i assume that how u get free exp

Everything you type gives more xp on grayshaft diff... Desolator as example is 6000xp.
I'm only part way through Act 3 and am already level 20. I've explored the whole island and killed damn near all the monsters though, and done almost all the sidequests I have found, except the broken ones of course.

I still have quests to do, but I unless every enemy respawns I don't see how I'll get enough experience to hit 30, even on Greyshaft difficulty.

I wouldn't be surprised if the devs didn't actually test it and it's basically impossible to actually get that achievement.
If you walk around the town at night you often get attacked by bandits. and they scale with your level or quest progress i dont know. so thats often around 300 xp per enemy with groups of 2 or 3.

not much but it helps to do that without exploiting.

but praying at the shrine also sounds not so bad. i have 140k gold atm that would be 175k xp

I wouldn't be surprised if the developers didn't test anything at all in their game xD
I think they tested the starting area only - the one where demo took place
I think the amount of experience gained was not calculated and there is no need to invent anything, just wait for the patches
What about highest difficulty? I played on middle one and reached 21 lvl at the end. But the highest difficulty has "extra experience" in description

Its 20% more

Hmm I think it's more likely that we received the demo so we could handle the testing...
