Chapter 4 Main Story stuck

I'm stuck on the quest Ancient Order Manuscript from The Order of the Seven faction where I need to loot the ancient manuscript from the order stronghold in Icy Ridge. I've gotten inside the fortress and am now stuck staring at three pedestals before a locked door. Not sure if I missed a hidden room but I am lost on what to do here.

You need to place the stone from the basement of one of the statues correctly, and then turn the second statue a little more, and then the lever for the secret passage will work. I finally succeeded.

how do you reach this quest? I'm stuck in "find Ancient Knowledge" in icy ridge

You go to this point, there is an entrance to a cave, walk through it, climb the rocks up and see a book with ancient knowledge. As a reference point, the corpse of one of the expedition members at the entrance to the cave.

Thanks a lot, after taking the ancient knowledge I have no indication of where to go

It's at the end of the secret passage that I'm stuck.

I see the statues but I can't interact with anything and I don't see a locked door

I believe this quest is only for people that joined The Order faction. I'll edit main post to specify

Hey guys I am also stuck on the main story at act 4. Does anyone know where the foundry is ? If its the builing to the south I am up ♥♥♥♥ creek as it seems to be bugged for me as the terrain spawned weirdly (to much snow / earth is above the building). Because I damn near went everywhere on the icy ridge map. Also as a side note what benefits do I get for killing alphas ? I mean I get some stats, and I can report it to the jaeger guy in the dark forest but I feel like I am missing an animal , killed stinger / mauler / brute alpha.

As a follow up, anyone know where the hell the 3 parties are for "preparing for the big hunt" ? I know this game is supposed to be hands off but just saying "find them" and not giving a hint is kind of silly.

My best guess for the foundry is in the west / southwest of icy ridge. The little swirl area next to the broken house on the map there's a path that slopes downwards with those ant-like creature's that leads to what I assume is the foundry. I don't have a quest to go there since I'm with the order.

The building in the south just seems to be decoration to look at from afar. I climbed up there and it was clearly not a real building we needed to get to.

As for the alphas I think you pretty much nailed it for the benefits. Maybe there's a perk for killing all of them but I don't know at this point. Should be an alpha for every type of animal.

If you didnt get a response or didnt figure it out already, you can loot 3 named weapons from within the fortress. You have to place these weapons in a specific order onto the stone pedestals. I remember the 2hander goes on to the right pedestal.

The pedestals can be really annoying to target to show up the ineraction button.

If you didnt get a response or didnt figure it out already, you can loot 3 names weapons from within the fortress. You have to place these weapons in a specific order onto the stone pedestals.

The pedestals can be really annoying g to target to show up the ineraction button.

Where are the weapons I can pick up? are they the swords on the wall? If so I can't seem to interact with them.

No, theres areas that are kind of hidden by vines. Walk through and they are located on altar type things with candles. All of them have names and will go into your quest inventory not your weapon inventory

I'll give it another shot but I'm thinking my quest is bugged. I've been in those rooms hidden by vines and was only able to loot junk around the altars. Thanks for the answer though.
