If Alexander did abdicate, Oganthar wouldnt have a problem as Arthur is respected and both Gilbert and Conrad would definitely accept him as King. Annaroth would be probably ruled by somebody as powerful as Ulrich. Airath is probably the unluckiest one. barely any population left, the whole island is schorched meaning no resources but honestly probably only the Guild might try and make Airath a whole Guild island.
Yeah, the scene he threw away his crown was weird. Until the end Alexander introduced himself as King of Airath, which indicates his stong attachment to the throne.
