I'm also hoping for no-swimsuit version of bathing CGs and portraits, not because I want to see nakedness in games that badly (you can find those CGs and portraits online without problem), but because I want to see them released in "HD" as well.
Both swimsuit and no-swimsuit versions are precious and have been drawn by Sunaho Tobe Sensei. The more Riviera art, the better and some of the characters actually look better in the swimsuit version (the portraits are completely different, not just censored), so I recommend people looking them up.
None, there is little point in owning both PSP and GBA versions, should save the money and got Summon Nights.
Thankyou
They weren't exactly "altered", because the modern Switch/iOS/Android/Steam remake is based mostly on the Japanese PSP Special Edition version, which had the swimsuit version of the bathing scenes.
I was hoping that maybe they would use the version without swimsuits on Steam (especially considering the nudity warning), but unfortunately they didn't.
Nevertheless, both versions can be found on youtube.
This version has:
1. a lot of quality of life improvements (including multiple modes of gameplay and difficulty levels)
2. an option to recolor sprites to match the portraits (drawn by Sunaho Tobe Sensei) for the first time since the initial WonderSwan version
3. portraits of demons colored for the first time (previously they were single-colored)
4. multiple sound sources to choose from.
5. Dialogue Log and and an option to change voices between English and Japanese mid-game
and more: https://i.imgur.com/vW8IRzI.png
So in my opinion it's worth buying, especially if you want to see other Sting/Dept. Heaven remakes/games released in English.
I'm pretty sure modders can find a way to replace the illustrations, though.
