I downloaded the demo, but I can't enter the game even after it loads to 100%

The Demo has been updated, but it doesn't help on Linux native/Proton.
(maybe the update wasn't related, I am just reporting in case this is valuable info)

I was looking for a demo, sad to see theres one but it was removed.
I think steam sales are the best time to have a demo... added a bunch of titles i was curious about to the cart, instaling demos when i can, given my budget and some demos i liked i dont think id risk buying this one (autobattlers are hit or miss for me)
