2 star difficulty
How do you guys pass this difficulty?

The enemies are stronger, slime is no longer a good choice for defensing dungeon, traps are
useful to against with enemies, but it costs more gold.

Little suggestion for the 2 stars dungeons and the clear points.

1. List the change of the difficulty, such as enemies' hp double/ status double.

2. As my observe, the enemies' hp or status is doubled at 2 stars dungeons, the difficulty is much more harder than you think, the monster always die, the mana is not enough at the beginning, it is easy to lose no matter you put on which way ( resource or monster)

3. More clear point options, like buffing monster, more stronger monster, able to take the monsters from last loop, nerf enemies. Also unlock more monster or building, the number of special monster ( the one can be break the level limit).

You get more points for each ending cleared, so if you're struggling, clear other endings on first difficulty. Personally I did 2 endings on 1*, then without problems cleared 2* and higher.
After you evolve your units, they become available for hire on ng+ in evolved form which makes it easier to deal with higher difficulties.

Chose a wrong word, you're able to use evolved forms as a starting unit, as seen on the screenshot.

Currently, we don't provide specific numbers in-game about how enemy stats change according to difficulty. However, since there's a bestiary, you can compare the HP shown in the bestiary with actual HP in-game. The current 2x HP is at difficulty level 4.

As mentioned above, the recommended approach is to create evolved monsters. Or seeing multiple endings is another way.
Regarding evolution, while each unit has different evolution conditions, if you successfully evolve a unit in one playthrough, you can bring it as a starting unit in the next playthrough, which should be quite helpful.
For even higher difficulties, special units will have more opportunities to shine.

I don't think there's any limitation on the number of evolutions in a game? The only limitation is doing it in the alloted time, I suppose.
