Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut

Hey I just got Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut and have some questions.
I got the Director's Cut version first before the original game, and recently, about a couple days ago.

Is there any DLC missing, and it seems like it's been a long time since Early 2014 for the Director's Cut version, so where are the updates?

And is Strike Suit Infinity, a part of Strike Suit Zero? Or is it a game of its own that goes into your steam game's library?

Will the original strike suit textures from the comparison, be in the Director's Cut version as an option to choose? The cockpit behind the seat actually goes back in an aero dynamic style which looks very nice, there is a bit of an aero dynamics to the points of the wings, and also they look larger, and the blue glow on parts of the ship as well.
That all looks very nice, but the colors on the Director's Cut version, looks like some mining ship that you have seen from other space games, just doesn't seem like the right colors between blue and orange. The original color looks nice with the blue glow on specific parts of the ship and the cockpit. Very advanced looking and I like that vibrant glow feeling, and the symbols look really nice on the original texture too.

also on one of the Earth capital ships, the blue glow to the main deck area, with the long thin window looks very aero dynamic as well, again I really like the glow and the style of that window for it, because the new yellow window and aero dynamics for that window.. don't look all that impressive.
The Director's Cut - depth of detail however, does look impressive, but the textures do not on specific things.

Also.. about the shadows disabled.. I've got an EVGA Geforce GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0 graphics card, with 32 GB's DDR3 Ram at 1600 Mhz not overclocked, with 2 of the sticks could go at advertised 1866 Mhz, with a Vishera FX 8350 - 8 core cpu at 4 Ghz each core.
And an Asus VG248QE 3D Gaming Monitor at 144 Hertz which allows no vertical screen tearing, this means I can have Vsync off for every game, and the monitor can be upgraded to the Gsync mod to look even better.
So why are some of the game's video options disabled or others such as Vsync off, not allowing me to go above 60 frame rates? I can easily get 140 - 300 frames per second in Alien: Isolation, with max settings.
There's no reason for the game to be missing graphical settings in the options, such as render features, and no reason for them to be disabled either.
I know other people have slower computers, though.. if researched, great prices can be found for a PC like mine..
But still.. with a PC like mine, it just doesn't make sense to have less features in a game.
I'm not all about graphics, very much so into gameplay, but I like my visuals with it.
These days you see games with great gameplay and no graphics, other games have all eye candy and no gameplay, vice versa.. if you see what I mean.

I understand there will be updates for bugs and fixes, even DirectX 10, from what videos have shown on youtube..
But when was the last update, and it's been almost 2 years since the Director's Cut was launched?
Also most people have already had a DirectX 11 graphics card for at least 3 - 5 years, and many of those are moving on to DirectX 12 graphics cards, so why isn't the game being updated to work properly with modern hardware? If it's being updated for DirectX 10.
I mean shouldn't it be updated to support DirectX 11 and 12, more than DirectX 10?

The video about the shadows update was back early 2014, so where is it?

Ok so it sounds like you guys did stuff right before releasing Director's Cut.
But where are the updates after?

The devs have moved on to a new name and a new game. What you see is what you get as far as Strike Suit is concerned, sadly.

To answer some of your other questions, pretty sure all the DLC is in the director's cut, and Infinity is it's own game in your library if you buy it.

Thank you for the answer!

And finally, a non - troll post!

Oh that sucks! I've got Fractured Space free when it was in beta and launched, over a weekend they said that something about, "anyone who joins now, will get the game free if they download it over the weekend.. it will stay in their library."

I've had the game for a couple years now, since 2014.. and they reworked it.
I was actually bored of the game, the style seemed limited in space.. ironic since it's "space" right? Which you would think would be unlimited in outer space.
I just felt that the game was kind of dull, not my style.. but I was glad that they re-worked it at some point late 2014 and early last year, and that they added new ships and ways to the system for the game. But I felt that the space just wasn't there, the small radar at the bottom right corner of the screen, at that time.. was making it feel small in area, and I didn't like being limited to what was shown, and I believe with it looking organized in direction, it felt very linear and closed in. But also having to jump from one to the other, just to get to a far end, was also frustrating.

I never did re-install it since I first tried Fractured Space, even when it was re-worked on.. I should have but just wasn't interested. But that's because of memories and how dull it felt, though.. I'm sure it would be fun to others for that style..
It's just the reasons I gave, that feel so.. closed off and limited, that make it so dull, and I believe the music as well just doesn't feel right if I can remember, don't remember what it sounds like though. I just could not get excited about the game, it's got too much of a limited situation that is dull to me, and the HUD radar was no fun to look at, felt very limited in where to go.

Yeah this is sad news indeed..
To find out.. same devs? Or did they take over the project of Fractured Space at some point?

Wow sounds like marketing or they really lost their way at some point, or both.

But yeah.. still get the emails from them a few times each month... and have been since 2014.

I am very ashamed of this game company.
Just a few days ago.. I thought to myself, that I am proud of this game company for going so far with re-working Fractured Space. But then.. finding out that they are the devs of Strike Suit Zero from what you said.. was a major let down, really lost respect for them.
Moving onto another game like that also.. is just, so sad, leaving their fans behind like that.
Reminds me of Gearbox.

I also feel pulled into their marketing scheme with Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut.
Since they moved onto another game, that they gave away free over a weekend.. they should have done the same with Strike Suit Zero, Strike Suit: Infinity, and the Director's Cut edition.

After trying the Director's Cut first, is Strike Suit: Infinity, worth getting?
I noticed some of the music sounds better when in specific combat from some youtube videos, for Strike Suit: Infinity.

Btw the music DLC wasn't in the Director's Cut, but the art DLC was, from what the DLC page shows for the original game.
Unless I'm not seeing the music, but the art DLC shows it's in the library, can't find it.
