Deleting save files

Is it possible to delete your savefiles without having to reinstall the entire game? I've found a folder named Saves, but deleting its contents doesn't seem to delete any save files in the actual game.

Any ideas?

You can save over old files, the real world dates and times are displayed to keep track. If you wanted to delete them anyway it shouldn't be a problem right? There's no reall way to delete the data it's just meant to be saved over. Hope that helps

I know I can save over them, but I like being able to erase savefiles whenever I go on a completely different route so I don't get confused easily.

No option for that... if you really want uniform for each new save then save over all the files with the same one to begin with? The first place you can save? Otherwise it is what it is... if you its that critical report it in the bug section.

Nevermind, found out how to delete save files outside of the game!

In case someone else needs instructions (for Windows 7):
- Go to C:\Users\username\Appdata\Roaming\RenPy\Backstage Pass-[some numbers - might vary per version/user]\
- The save files are structured per page. File 1-3-LT1.save would be the third savefile slot on the first savefiles page, 4-2-LT1.save is the second saveslot on page 4, etc.

WARNING: Make sure you do NOT delete the file named persistent (no file extension), unless you want to lose all your progress when it comes to read text, CGs, etc.!
