How do I get John's romance? I've been trying to get ending for the last 6 times and I always fail in the end.

The most important thing with John is to work every week. Only then can you trigger all his events. Also, you need to max fitness and fashion.
As for events...
- Accept his offer for a ride home.
- At Adam's photoshop, pick lecture sternly.
- Go to the Halloween party with the crew. Wear the renaissance dress.
- Spend the night at the studio.
- I think if you buy and watch the Knight Errant serie before the second week of November (the event when John starts playing as Vice), you will have a boost of affection, but I am not certain.
- When he bumps in Sian, get to work.
If you neglected the other guys, you should have 2½ hearts with John in December and Sian will ask him out the second week of January. That means you are on John's romantic path.
- When John asks about sadism, say it could be fun (oh boy...).
- For his birthday, give him black truffles (you can buy them at the ??? shop).
- Max his affection by July to get the "perfect romance" ending.

In my opinion, the hard thing with John is that you really need to go on a lot of dates (I think I did 7 dates with cupcakes to max his affection). I think he likes when you wear classy clothes, although I do not know how much it affects his affection.
At the cafe, he likes to eat the scone and the salad. At the arcane, he likes to play the racing game. For movies, he likes the funny thing about love and night witches.

Just for clarification, John doesn't care if Sian is into S&M or not. That choice is just there so people who don't want to see that sort of thing don't have to. Everything else in this guide is spot on.
