Romance options?

Looking at the trailer and taking a glance here and at the developer's forums, am I right to assume that there will not be any same-sex romance options for this game?

So I assume this romance end isn't a possibility in the beta? Since it doesn't seem like you have a lot of chances to interact with these girls outside of the planned stuff, like you do with the possible male love interests.

Only the four 'main' romance routes are open at the moment. The extra routes will come on as they're completed.

As posted above, one of the female characters is one of the hidden routes to be implemented.

If not for a spoiler like that, I wouldn't even consider buying the game. There's no way I'd buy it if there wasn't a relationship option I could identify with, and I'm pretty certain I'm not the only one.

You wouldn't, given that it's NEVER hard to find a straight male character in games. You've got the luxury of this never coming onto your radar, and to assume that since you don't have a problem with it, neither does anyone else.

Representation matters. I'd recommend educating yourself on the topic to avoid embarrassment.

There actually is one that has, I did her route not too long ago. It was very cute.

Yeah, I found that out after the fact. It's definitely cute. Aside from the Adam ending(s), it's the only romance one I've done. Lots of solo ones. I CBA to date the boys just yet. Too much solo stuff to do first.
