Wow! I think I fell in love o this route. Best yet! He's exactly as I imagined. What does everyone else think?

I love him so much. I don't even care that we can't date him. I'm just happy he has a route at all. XD But yes, he's adorable and dorky and sweet. Alviiiiiin!!

I don't view it as being a friendship route. The ending says it all. He's always thinking of Sian, just doesn't have physical desires like most people. He's asexual, but still romantically interested in her.

"But what about all the other things? All the stuff I'm supposed to feel?"
"Supposed to feel? There's no rule out there that says it's not love just because you don't want to kiss me."

Alvin IS ace, but I know that most people expect "romance" to include kissing or a sexual component. I've been debating how to mark the route because I didn't want to skew expectations, but I also didn't want to be misleading. Would "asexual romance" be the most understandable?

Yeah, as a "lesbofluid ace" (as one of my friends likes to call me), it's a nice touch. As is the Nicole route. The only thing I don't like about their routes is that they don't really give much of a "and then this happened" ending like all the others. Even Lloyd's route gets a "and we became an amazing director/producer duo." I'd love to see more of the discussion about Nicole and Sian's new makeup line, and whatever Alvin and Sian end up doing in the end as well.

Will there be an add on after you get the alvin good ending like an epilogue eventually?

I'm wondering what you have to do to get Alvin's ending? I assume it has to do with high grades and high intelligence, but I'm not really sure outside of that.

High fashion, I believe, though I've heard others say high charisma. I've usually maxed all three, along with fitness, by then, so it might even be fitness. But yeah, I'd shoot for fashion first, since that seems to be a topic that comes up a lot during his route, his making his own clothes, Sian's skill as a makeup artist, etc.

I *loved* Alvin's route. His character is as nerdy and awkward and adorable and I thought he'd be, and there were so many great interactions throughout. His route is easily one of my favorites. I think the "asexual romance" label is appropriate, and I thought that aspect of the story was done well. I agree with others that an epilogue of some sort would be nice.

The only thing I wanted that wasn't there was one more conversation after the situation with Prof Meridia. I just...really wanted Sian to have some sort of follow up to that. A quick exchange a tutoring the next time? A phone call? And email? But that's probably way more about my reacion to that particular scene and my own, similar experiences than anything else. It's a pretty insignificant thing to be "missing" in the scope of the overall story.

I loved this route and it was adorable. Really cool you are including people of all sexualities in this game. We have Bi (John and Sian), Gay (Lloyd <3), and Asexual (Alvin). Really shows the types of relationships you can have.

You forgot to mention lesbian (Nicole) and probably queer but never brought up (Rachel). I mean, roller derby is a pretty stereotypically lesbian activity. Would be nice to have a trans character, but sadly, trans characters are rarely done well.

New head canon: Rachel is a butch lesbian trans woman. They exist (one of my best friends is one, and also a former derby player).

interesting. i always saw her as a strong don't need anyone, chasing my dream kind, married to the chase of the dream or job kind of woman.

A trans character done relaly well would be hard to identify unless you got a lot of backstory, or they were in late transition during the game. Think Caitlynn vs Jazz.
