Help Getting Matthew's Perfect Ending

I am literally about to just quit trying for Matt's end and go for something else. No matter how many times I play it, max out Fashion/Charisma, get 5 hearts, and all the extra routes (like chatting with Nicole a lot) I can NEVER seem to fully get 5 stars. I keep getting the "let's go on a date" ending and that is it. What the heck am I doing wrong? I literally just replayed his route 10 times in a row and still cannot get it!

I know that following this steam guide almost exactly I was able to get his best romance ending: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=532150273

I've done his route twice, without the guide for my first play through, and a second time with it. The first time, I never got Nicole's phone number and still got the best ending, so aside from one extra CG on his route with Nicole, you don't actually have to ever call her to get the ending.

His friend ending was really hard for me to get on and took me a good 15 times as well. I kept getting the 'let's go out' ending too. I understand your struggle XD.
