Condition 1: cannot be in solo
Condition 2: must be spawned by entity infitraitor spanwer. (nope i didnt misspell)
Condition 3: it must always be holding the old flashlight.
Extra: it always has the how to dance 101 emote for some reason
As long as an InfiltratorSpawner is active, one can spawn at any point regardless of the monster's spawn time. when one has spawned the basic "pop" will sound similar to a new player spawning into the game.
I have also found that it happens best when the players are separated from each other, as being together you know they are not an infiltrator, so spreading out gives the best chance.
From spawn rate checks on the factory:
Day 1: 2/50
Day 2: 0/50
Day 3: 2/50
(InfililtratorSpawner)
So pretty rare to see.
I'm not sure if it's different when more people are in-game or not, but seems about the same.
You will know if one is there due to its behaviour, instead of walking around normally it will just run. Always with a basic flashlight (Known as a fakeoldflashlight i assume) so just keep playing and ya might find another :>
