voice filter

everywhere I look it just keep bringing me to VoIP error problem posts, the thing is I'm not at all having that problem I'm looking for if there a way to filter voice as in removing background noises.... my friends were complaining about my washer from downstairs while I was complaining about there fan blowing air in the mic.... is there a way to fix that? I got filter on my mic from using its own program but like once I get in game all of those just "poof"....

In terms of in-game settings there's nothing for that, unless you can somehow have the filtered mic output the filtered into the game as if it were its own mic, you might just have to deal with it. I've never heard of a game with built in background noise filtering, and i'd be very surprised if something like this ever got added.

try using steams mic settings to add a noise gate or something

Steam settings(top left)
Voice
change your default to your main mic
scroll down to advanced
enable Noise cancellation
enable echo cancellation
