Weirdly bad performance :/

For some reason this game is extremely laggy, even when I joined my partner my character was also laggy in game like my character's frame rates was low but everything else was smooth and it makes no sense
- Playing on a gaming laptop the meet the recommended specs
- One of my other partners has a worse laptop that runs the game smoothly
- I put the graphics settings on the lowest i could
- Tried full screen and windowed
- Tried setting the frame rate limit 30 and 60 FPS
- Restarted PC and Steam
- Validated game files and reinstalled game
- Updated Graphics card drivers
- I have forced game to start in direct x 11 and 9 and both did not work
- I have made it so the game runs as admin
- Followed any TS guide I could
- Probably skill issue

There does seem to be a bug where the FPS drops when you are near certain monsters or spinning objects, or while you are holding the camera. Is it the same for you or does it lag at other times?

Fps drops mainly due to spinning objects, I also noticed that when entering the location, the load on the video card drops to 10-20% when the video card is running at 99% in the lobby

So is the dropping of frames when I'm near entities and spinning wheels is not a computer issue but a resource issue?

Not sure but other players have also reported this, it seems likely to be a bug with the game. It's on the bug list and the team will look into it as soon as they can.

I think you should try setting your Window's power plan to "High Performance." It solved a lot of issues for me and gave me at least 10-15 FPS on Content Warning.
