I've found that rooms with machinery and laser traps are the ones who cause the most drops in performance

I think you should try setting your Window's power plan to "High Performance." It solved a lot of issues for me and gave me at least 10-15 FPS on Content Warning.

Nonetheless, my team has covered the topic in our gaming blog (GameScopes.com) so you should check out the solutions right here:

https://gamescopes.com/how-to-fix-content-warning-low-fps-issue-ultimate-guide/

Here's what the guide consists of:

1. Switch Up the In-Game Lobby
2. Adjust Content Warning’s FPS Limiter
3. Change Content Warning’s System Priority
4. Re-Adjust the Graphic Settings
The Best Content Warning Settings: (Max FPS)
The Best Content Warning Settings: (Balanced)
5. Lower the PC’s Resource Occupation
6. Update the System’s Graphic Drivers
How to Update NVidia Graphic Drivers?
How to Update AMD Graphic Drivers?
How to Update Intel Graphic Drivers?
7. Uninstall All Content Warning Mods
8. Tweak the GPU Control Panel Settings
9. Backup and Reinstall Content Warning

Each solution is covered thoroughly so don't hesitate to check it out!

Hope this helps!
