Microphone quiet

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble when you put your video into the tv whenever I have the camera my mic is very quiet my friends sound fine. Is there anyway to turn up my microphone in game?

I also have this problem, but my friend who's mic is working fine says that my mic is also fine. And he can hear me normally, however when I view back the video at the end of the day, even if I am the one holding the camera I am insanely quiet to the point that in the recordings its rare if you hear my voice.

Dang I am still having this problem as of today. I use a yeti mic and it works fine if I don't hold the camera but as SOON as I'm the one recording I am basically unintelligible with how quiet I am.

I'm having the same issue. Me and a buddy have the same SM7B Microphone, But he's perfectly fine, I'm super quiet, but only when I'm holding the camera, and on the quieter side when I'm not holding the camera, and it seems to be more likely to happen when I'm hosting.

As more and more updates roll out more of my issues are being fixed. A while ago an update fixed my quietness, then it fixed my friend joining issue, and now recently it fixed the bug where my game would freeze when I turned the camera off. By experience, my only advice is just to wait and hope that an update would refresh ur games and maybe fix the bugs

I haven't played in awhile but I wanted to chime in and say I also had this issue using a blue snowball. I've noticed at least 2 other people with the same mic having the issue so I wanted to slap that up incase it was worth a look!

I seem to be encountering this issue only when I'm the one with the camera. I sound fine as long as someone else records (though maybe a bit quiet, but at least audible). It's odd since I'm pretty sure I sound fine elsewhere.

Go to Steam settings then go to voice and turn up ur input volume.. thats what worked for me
