Microphone volume too quiet

in the in game videos the volume is way too quiet and I can barely hear myself, haven't tested it out with actual players yet but think it would be the same way. Note: my microphone is normal when just regularly using it.

Hi! Have you checked your own mic settings on your computer? Maybe make it higher for a bit? :)

My friend's mic works fine but my own is super quiet
We messed around a bit and swapped who is hosting
In other software my mic's volume is fine
He can kiiiinda fix it on his end by boosting me and lowering everything else, but that still ends up with me being near unhearable in the finished videos sadly
Otherwise we're having a pretty great with the game so far!

It would be very nice to have a volume slider ingame, my friend is also very quiet despite their mic being loud normally :,0

yes i have same problem and my mic is at 100% in windows volume mixer. Also there seems to be an issue where only host can see the video playback at end. Amazing game pls fix I can't wait to play more!

*NO IM DUMB, we do have a volume slider already! It just doesn't affect the videos made ingame, sadly

Also it only goes up so far, if it went up farther and affected videos then it would be much better!

I'm having the same issue where I am very quiet within the video and nothing else. My mic volume on my PC is 100% and it still doesn't work.

I'm also having the same issue. The weird thing is, when someone else is recording using the camera, my voice tends to be fine. When I'm the one recording with the camera, my mic is very quiet.

I'm simultaneously recording on stuff like OBS or talking on Discord at the same time and my microphone is about average on those platforms to the point where it doesn't really have to be sound balanced.

I think this is my issue too. Steam VC works fine, on the other hand. It appeared my audio was registering in-game, just very quietly, so my buddy couldn't hear me. Would love to give this game a try.
