No sound in game

So I updated the game and I launched. I heard the intro to the game, but I don't hear the other things in the game, like in the menu and steps and players. So i'm without sound. Does somebody have the same issue or solution to fix it

Hello and yes, I have done everything on my computers sound, but the games didn't have any sound settings, only mic settings

he is not the only one with this issue, other players like my friend are reporting having this issue now

A friend of mine is also having this issue: No sound in-game or in the title screen despite checking sound output parameters and window's sound mixer

Me and my friend is having the same issue where the voice chat doesn't work

I am having the same issue. Tried reinstall, file validation,, deleting save files, restarting computer, and changing audio output devices. None of that worked. Sucks that I want to play the new update but I cannot because of this issue.

Edit: Fixed the issue. My audio sliders in game were displaying max level. But when sliding them from one side to the other for a while I was able to start hearing things. Dont know if the volume was set to 0 but displaying max or something. But that worked for me.

I was playing with the VR mod in thunderstore. After playing the game in non VR I had no sound. After trying everything I disabled the VR mod in thunderstore and immediately got sound back. It could be something mod related if using any.

Have you checked the Master, SFX and Voice volume sliders in the settings? Sometimes they get set to 0 due to a bug. You can also try to adjust the Master volume (lower or increase the volume), that seems to fix things sometimes.
