Similar Games?
I really enjoyed playing all three of these games and I'm wondering if anyone knows of similar games to them.

I also enjoy games like Nancy Drew and Syberia, but I want something more challenging. I want to try out the Myst series as well.

Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart is a great point-and-click adventure with puzzle-solving and hidden objects searches. Same goes for Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink. Both are from Artifex Mundi and I love the puzzles and art style.

I have a similar problem as you trying to find similar stuff. There is the Professor Layton series, Tengami, and Sherlock: the Network. You might also enjoy perspective puzzles such as Monumental Valley. Happy gaming!:steamhappy:

Not necessarily puzzle more like "first-person" but it has tons of puzzles: Zork Nemesis (1997)

Another one I enjoyed a lot in the old days called: Jewels of the Oracle, strickly puzzles only. You'd be extremely lucky to find that nowadays (also old from like 1996).

Edit: find it at old-games dot com btw

PS. I see you mentioned Myst, the graphical Zork series were all amazing (Nemesis, Grand Inquisitor and Return To Zork) very Myst-like (check GOG they have them)... another amazing puzzle game was called: "Connections: It's a Mind Game" but licensed to Discovery channel and extremely hard to find these days (mostly first-person/puzzle) the puzzles were awesome and scientific.... the best one of all included entering the pyramids of Egypt and solving a gyrogliphics puzzle.

PPS LOL here I am again, you can also look for Escape the Lost Kingdom, also puzzle solving in Steam (though I see the reviews say the steam version is missing tons of stuff from the original PC version).

Thank you sophie9709, I actually bought all the parts of Monument Valley and have played it through twice xD I love that game so much!

EbonHawk, I knew that name sounded familiar, they have games on BigFish, I used to play from there all the time, but for me the games are too short and only have 1-2 harder challenges. Although I have found some really great ones that I love such as the Ravenhurst series. And I just found Warehouse 47 which looks amazing.

And Molokaicreeper, thank you so much for coming back several times to add more to your post, I really appreciate that. The Zorks sound really great and I will check those out also I can try to find Escape the lost kingdom for pc instead of through steam.

I used to love the harder puzzles earlier in life, but now that I have precious little time to actually play I try to get easier ones so I'm making progress instead of frustrated and quit. :-(

Tengami looks intriguing, and so does the Ravenhearst series. thanks for the info!

You might like Safecracker : The Ultimate Puzzle Adventure. There are safes to unlock, a house to explore, and a lot of challenging puzles. (The reviews are mixed on the store because of a display issue but you can fix it by switching to windowed mode. The game's really worth it!)

There's also Aura : Fate of the Ages which I haven't finished. It's a bit Myst-like, and the puzzles are quite hard to figure out. I was stuck in the first level for ages, lol.

Well, I can say without a doubt, that the latest Sherlock game (The Devil's Daughter) is a letdown. Way too much action-y stuff, and the puzzles are boring more-of-the-same crap, with some okay ones interspersed at rare intervals. Spend a lot of time dying in some of the puzzle rooms; can't give too much away about the details but they're just not fun.

And the over-arching story is a joke. Sorry to say I paid full price for this. Oh well. better luck next time. Crimes & Punishment was way better, I thought. Need to play Testament again to see where it falls in the mix; honestly don't remember much about it, other than it was underwhelming as well. I hope they didn't hit their peak at Frogwares with C & P. That would be depressing.

Where can Monument Valley be found? I've tried old-games, GoG, & Steam. No luck. Is it only on Android or iOS?

The Room shares a lot of similarities to escape room games. They just released a sequel to the original Crimson Room on steam a few weeks ago. If you enjoy the puzzles in The Room, then I definitely think you'd like Crimson Room Decade. It also has that creepy, mysterious atmosphere and a plot told through notes you discover as you solve puzzles and progress in your escape.
