This game wont load but The Room Two loads perfectly fine . pls help

after installing, and trying to load the game, it says preparing for launch but it never loads.

the room two loads perfectly fine.

I have tried verifying game cache and it still wont load .

Sorry to hear that! It sounds like this is a general problem with Steam.

The solution is apparently to quit Steam completely, then delete the file clientregistry.blob from your Steam folder (which is probably something like "C:\Program Files\Steam" or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam")

Then restart Steam and try again."

This fixed it for me. Hopefully it will for you too.

Identical issue here. Room 2 works just fine as far as i can tell (It starts). The room 1 however does not work. Deleting the .blob file does not fix the issue for me. Any hekp would be nice. I prefer playing them in order.

I had this problem too, and I dont have this clientregistry.blob file
But I fixe it but unblocking the game in Comodo, it was blocking it and even I allowing it to conect to internet when the program ask me what to do it didn't work. So I went to the program configurations and found The Room in the blocked list, maybe thats your problem too.
