Chapter two final puzzle (getting the right angle)

I've been trying for two hours straight now and I'm completely out of ideas. I checked videos on youtube, I tried every single angle that's possible. I think I did a perfect job, the picture that I need is clearly visible. But the game just doesn't accept it. Anyone else who had this problem? It's at the very end where you have to put on your goggles and then move a rectangular and circular object to get a certain shape. Thing is, I manage to get the shape, then the game doesn't advance.

I read elsewhere about changing the in game resolution settings to the lowest for those puzzles. I was stuck at that one until I did that. Then I changed it back. The other ones didn't give me any trouble other than being annoying to figure out lol. Maybe it will help you :)
