Links 386 Pro
Back in the 90's myself and 2 friends would meet at my house on a Friday evening and play Links 386 Pro all night...They where fantastic days of which i never thought could be replicated...That is until i purchased Perfect golf yesterday and immediatly phoned my friends to tell them its a must buy...

Within minutes of installing we where all playing together, no hassle hosting and connecting to a game...Perfect Golf went perfectly seemless, brilliant!!...

Weve tried all the other golf games since the early 90's, the Tiger Woods series, even Links 2003 never lived up to Links 386 Pro...

This is just a congratulations post really, on making an absolute gem of a golf game...Yes its bare bones and needs filling out a tad, but the fundamentals are in place...

Yes commentary can become boring but it really made for some good laughs, "that'll play", "thats wet", "be the club" where all sayings that stuck in our brains, and which we used in every day life for years afterwards,...Anything good was always refered to as "be the club" or "be the one" :) great times

I hope in the future we can have all those things in PG, i really do, especially APPLAUSE!! after a great shot, i miss it dearly, we all do :(

Anyway, again thanks for a great game, and anyone whos sat on the fence, in our opinion its the best £14.99 weve ever spent...

The PC has been crying out for a great golf game and now weve got one...

single player like tiger woods/pga would be the cream on the green.

Yeah I remember 386 Pro. Used to get pretty nervous before starting a game as I believe it cost a few a month. Believe it or not I can't remember what my golf name was maybe because it was your real name. Yes that's it :) Links has a proud history.
