What is a "super awesome monster party"?
1. There is an achivement that says "Use Xespera's Challenge on your first turn in a Super Awesome Monster Party". I have the Scroll of Xespera's Challenge which turn all the monsters into bosses. I used it but did not get any achievment.

So I think the issue is that I did not use it in a "Super Awesome Monster Party".

Can anyone tell me what does that means?

2. Second question : What is a "mostly".
The achievement says "Kill 30 enemies within the lifespan of a single Mostly"
I have not seen a Mostly. Thanks!!!

Mostly is a summoned creature, one of the character classes has an ability that summons them.

Super Awesome Monster Party is a random portal you encounter in dungeons that leads to a place filled with dangeours foes.

You need to find secret rooms (get the first advanced delving skill to find them more often). Sometimes they contain portals, and one of the things the portal might lead to is a monster party (it will tell you what the portal leads to before asking if you want to use it). Monster parties leave you surrounde by dozens of monsters, so using those scrolls there is very dangerous.

Thank you both for the reply.

I just noticed one thing. It says "Use Xespera's Challenge on your first turn in a Super Awesome Monster Party" but it did not says anything about needing to survive it.

I have just found the portal to a Super Awesome Monster Party and have the scroll as well.
My guy is level 11 too and has all good gears. I really do not want to lose all my good gears, so I am thinking of putting all my good gears in the vault, then sacrifice my dungeonman and let him die. I just need to teleport my dungeonman inside the portal, then use the scroll and then let him die in the fight. Will that get me the achievement?

you don't have to die you know... 25 or so champions is pretty easy for most level 10+ characters
it will get you the achievement even if you die, yes

It helps if you use a bunch of defensive buffs before entering the portal.

just incase anyone else comes here to read this. i did it at lvl 6... came close to dying a few times mind you. i had a wiz with a bunch of potions, big thirst perk (whatever thats called) and an almost maxed out 5 melee / 4 tough chicken. if it wasnt for the thirst perk and the the chicken (he was called Wingsly - he is now Best Wingsly) i wouldnt have made it. not bragging it was verry close. i made it to lvl 7 while at the party and thats the highest i had been so far.

health pots, mana pots, champion pots armor pots. and the perk that lets your first potion each turn be for free. oh and the blink scroll i used about 5 of them. i had drunk almost all my pots by the end and wingsly had died protecting me.

what a game! i like rogue games, but i usually get tired of them. this one somehow keeps me interested

In my experience with dungeonmans do not attempt anything you are unsure of and not before you are max level (15) As I always say better safe than sorry. Also even among roguelikes this game has far too many ways for you to die. So any time you feel you are being overcautious I promise you that you are not. In this game especially you really never can be too careful.

The very second you get cocky or overconfident is the second you die or not long after. Trust me I have had dungeonmans that were like gods and the right opponent can end that in a second.
