Im using the Razer wolverine
To fix this have you tried the below?
1. In Steam, click on the Big Picture Mode button in the upper-right corner
This will open Steam in Big Picture Mode in full screen
2. Click on the Library button
3. Select BoneTown
4. Click on the Manage Game button in the left-hand column
5. Click on the Controller Options button
6. Click the Steam Input Per-Game dropdown box
7. Select Global Setting
This should be the fix for anyone who's controller stopped working with the new update.
The reason this change needs to happen is because our game used to deal with the controller, and that's why we had you forced the controller off through steam. But now steam is dealing with the controller, so you need to turn it back on for steam to have control.
When connecting a PlayStation controller to a computer, there are two buttons you need to press on the PlayStation controller to pair it. Try Googling pairing a PlayStation controller to a computer for a more detailed explanation. We had trouble doing it at first as well, but got it working
So you switched it back to Global and it still doesn't work?
I am aware of how to connect my PS4 controller to my laptop. The issues I was having came from not having the global settings set properly. Managed to sort that one out. Still doesn't solve the big issue. None of the buttons on my controller are mapped. They do not do anything in the game. When I go into the options menu to attempt to set them, I click on the section that says 'unmapped' and it takes me to the Steam controller configuration settings. And no matter what I do in those settings, when I close it and return to the game, none of the buttons on my controller are mapped. Is there something in the configuration settings themselves I am overlooking, or what? Because currently, it registers my controller, it just doesn't register any of the buttons as doing anything, and I can't seem to get it to.
So, the issue should be solved now. We are new to this and didn't realized we hadn't published our default mapping for the PlayStation controller (we still just had it locally). We have now done that and you should be able to get our default mapping now. Let me know if you are still not able to.
So is Steam recognizing the controller when you plug it in, but when you run the game it doesn't work? Have you tried going to the Options in our game, then Controls and clicking on the Secondary Controls column. This should take you to the Steam controller configuration. What shows up here? Does it show controls for our game?
Could you also send me the console.log file that is created when the runs? This will help me figure out what is going on. Make sure to play the game and have the controller not work, then close the game. Next, open the Run window by pressing the Windows Key + R. In the Run window, type %appdata% . This will bring you to the AppData/Roaming Folder. In this folder, open the folder for the game and send the file called console.log to support at d-dub.com.
Let me know if you have any difficulties doing this.

I have gotten it to work it would of been a big help to put in your fix to go to in game options an go to controller options then secondary then click right side of the mapping then map the controller to the community mapping cuz it is the only one that works. but Thanks for helping in quick time!
sincerely

Thanks for letting us know that was what you had to do. We were not aware of that, we thought that it would automatically give you the default mapping we created as a default. But thanks for the solution. We will pass it on.
