Stuck at a certain part

Hey, I'm stuck at a certain part in this game. I got the Air Talarias boots after killing the Command Robot Boss. However after getting the boots, I cannot seem to find the exit path. Does anyone have any advice in how to proceed?

Haven't played this game in a while, but I think I remember the Air Talarias boots is an optional item so you got sidetracked (which is not a bad thing, also the boots are very useful). So you gotta go back to the room where you fought commando bot, and take the elevator on the left of the room. Then backtrack to the room where you got the grenades (where your crewmates are trapped), and proceed from there.
