Din's Champion early access month 8
Din's Champion has now been in early access for over 8 months and is currently available on Steam.

As of this post, we've released 29 patches (6 since the last post) with 1,065 total changes (186 since the last post), which can be read here[www.soldak.com]. This consists of a ton of small fixes and balance changes, but there have been a bunch of larger changes.

Evil gods: The evil gods are now more powerful: they unleash new cataclysms, gain power in new ways, and are now more distinct from one another.

Blight: Blight got a huge boost: it spreads faster, has more ways to start, and poisons more things that it touches.

NPCs: Now you can give NPCs nicknames, NPCs get happiness bonuses from things like furniture and decorations, there is a lot of new NPC dialog, and there is now a way to lock doors to keep NPCs safe.

Music: We added over 20 new monster combat music tracks.

Distinct Biomes: Now more of the monsters have a desired biome, many of the gems are more common in specific biomes, biomes have more distinct weather, infernos now have ash, and water can freeze in the arctic.

That's it for all of the major new changes, but there are still a lot of changes coming.

As always comments are welcome!

You have a gem of a game here and i hope you dont do your useal game dev cycling like with all the other Din^s games. If you could somehow manage to spread this to a wider audience...just imagine...
I havent been this hooked to a game in a long time. Keep up the good work Sir!

I have been thinking about picking this game up. It's great to see a game getting updated/patched regularly. After reading this, i am curious about the blight. What is it exactly? Can it be turned on/off?
