Bug: Devil's Gate round key #2 locks up game

After digging for key to box containing key 2 of 4, We expanded the key and placed it into the box. It locked up the game and is saved in that state. I have to use task manager to end Escape Simulator 2. When I restart there is no key to dig up and the locked box containing key 2 of 4 is still closed with no key to open it (not in inventory, nor laying around either). When I examine the box it locks up the game every single time. Bummed because I don't want to replay the entire game just to finish the last item.

This sounds like a game breaking bug, yeah.

If you can, send us your player.log file via Discord[discord.gg], email ([e-mail]), or the Steam forums. It helps a lot.

If possible, include a video or GIF of the bug

It’s in:

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Pine Studio\Escape Simulator 2
