To do the basic achievements is reasonably easy, and you'll get your money's worth doing them, but only just. The advanced achievements are a lot tougher, and require a fair amount of skill. I feel the advanced achievements are what make the game worth playing. Beyond that, I guess it's just hackers and no-lifers. I'm kind of done with the game, except that the new daily challenge will keep me coming back for more. The devs promise more stuff as well.
It's a very smart game with a brilliant design. The price is worth it just to see how it all works. However, individual playtimes tend to be fairly short and intense. I don't feel it's a chill game you can play for hours on an end and wonder where the day is gone. It's more like ten minutes of near-abstract twiddling punctuated by stabs of rage and terror and you wonder where your sanity has gone.
