Pre-made real life station maps

Put simply, take something like the London Underground, map all the real tube stations onto random shapes, and let the user play about with unlimited lines + trains to see if they can run a fascimilie of a 'real' tube layout, either by recreating the real lines or trying to create a better network. Could add this as a special 'challenges' section perhaps?

But that would be totally different from the actual game. It's more of a puzzler with a subway skin. Personally I would love a good subway simulation game too but I think it's not really the direction this game is going. Otherwise the whole zen/relaxation would be gone too. (Since you would need to introduce money: ticket costs, maintenance costs, running costs, salaries, etc. In other words, all kinds of extra menus to control your subway.) If you want that then OpenTTD is a good free alternative. You can just run trains there, but imagine them to be subways. (Only caveat there is they're above ground, but still, that's more of a simulator in those terms.)
